The Tithe Barn

I am nursing a slight hangover today, so I will keep this sort and sweet before I have a roast dinner and nap my day away.

A really cool and quirky place to go, if you happen to be in Wiltshire, is a place called the Tithe Barn in Bradford-on-Avon. It dates back to the 14th century (I don't really do history, but that is a looonnggg time!) and is now home to a few 'market stores' which sell anything from cards, to oak furniture. All of which is housed in the old barns that surround the Tithe Barn, featuring all the original ceilings and wood work. It's great to have a nose around and walk out with a few bags of quirky bits at the end.

Some small shops usually don't accept card, but all the little shops pretty much do, so you have no excuse to buy some bits and pieces.

With the canal running right behind it and a few local pubs about a 5 or 10 minute walk along from, you can spend an afternoon working up an appetite whilst spending some money!

If you are not from around Wiltshire, and want to know more, then visit the Bradford-on-Avon website here.
